AT&T's rates for Vita altered, now $30 for 3GB

AT&T previously announced that it will ream charge owners of the 3G-enabled PlayStation Vita $15 for 250MB of data and $25 for 2GB of data. While this was off-putting to many-a-potential Vita owners, the company has since altered its rates slightly, which may make many a bit, well, not happier, but more satisfied with their purchase of the $300 version of the handheld. Now, $30 will get you access to 3GB of data service, which the savvy shopper will have already calculated, grants you an additional gig of data at only five more dollars, or some low percentage which I can't cipher.

Is that enough to re-warrant a purchase of the 3G-enabled handheld? Or is the Wi-FI-only version the way to go?
