The news on this game is making me want to break out my N64 again.

I don't own a Xbox 360, and I don't plan on buying one now, but I'm glad to see this game getting a new release.

Actaully the servers for TS3 are down on ps2 and xbox live for original xbox games stops working in april. and it doesnt work on xbox 360 so id say stick with ts2

They actually made all 3 Timesplitters games, EA just published the last one. The last one in fact may have been the best of the series for several reasons. One being it was online, it still had the same 4 player split- screen but online was a welcome addition. Also Future Perfect (TS3) had map sharing. This led to people remaking alot of old Goldeneye and Perfect Dark maps then sharing them with the network. Good times thoses were. I suggest you look up the third as well.

BOTS were the best aspect of Timesplitters. Its such a shame they've all but disappeared from modern releases. KillZone2 is the only current gen FPS i own. I bought it solely for the BOT play. I don't like playing online against uber skilled super gamers, my favourite memories of FPS are me and my sister playing golden eye together and later Timesplitters 2 together. I have no fun at all dying every 5 seconds whenever i go online. When I play a shooter I want to be massively overpowered and take on hordes of dumb BOTS. I dont want to feel mortal, I want to feel omnipotent and all-powerful. mwhahahah.

I own this game. BOTS in multi-player = awesome.

I've been debating going on a new game freeze, where I don't buy any new games, and I replay all of my old games.

I'm cheap enough as it is, that I don't purchase new games often anyway, but I thought it would be a great way to reflect upon what games were, before they became what they are.
